Southern Fuel & Farm Supplies Ltd
Description
Southern Fuel And Farm Supplies Limited was set up on Tue the 29th of Mar 1994 in Co Cork. Southern Fuel and Farm Supplies was formed in 1994 by Maurice and Bridget Smiddy, at that time SFFS was based in Ballinacurra Midleton. The company has grown over past 20 years and having moved to bigger premises in Knockgriffin Midleton in 2002, the business steadily grew.
The success of the business has been in its ability to provide a very wide range of agricultural / fuel products to our customers where customer service and a strong technical support are part of the package. It is this solid back up and field support that ensures our customers get the most from the products they buy from us. Whether its animal feeds, fertilisers seeds, agri chemicals, crop packaging, minerals, animal health products, hardware and so on, our team of experts will do all possible to ensure higher yields, and better quality is the end result of our work with our customers. All Crops, cereals, beet, maize, grass and dairy and beef animals, horses and sheep that our customers can be proud of is our driving force. We are judged every day on performance, the performance of the products we supply, the way we direct that they are used, and the attention of our well qualified field staff to help our customers with advice and support. We offer a competitive alternative to other Agri suppliers. We treat our customers with the greatest respect and aim always to build strong long term relations with farming families where short term gain is never the objective, but long term business based on trust, value for money, and where we are always there to help and assist our customers to achieve their goals, and to listen when our customers need us to hear their views and respond to their requirements. Our company is bigger today 20 years later. We have very strong connections with Barrett Agri in West Cork, Imokilly Oil and Jordan Agri in Carlow. The increased purchasing power within the group today gives us a major edge in dealing with suppliers where volume and buying power are vital in being able to pass on value to our customers. The support and loyalty of our suppliers has been paramount in helping us grow our business. Like the support of our customers, its something we never ever take for granted.
