International Award Winning Professional Freelance Hair Stylist specialising in bespoke Bridal Upstyling/Bridal/Weddings/Occasions/Photoshoots/Editorials
Melissa is an internationally award winning hair stylist who won a silver world medal for Ireland at the Hairdressing World Championships in Milan, Italy in October 2012, competing alongside Team Ireland.
Melissa holds qualifications in World Federation, OMC, Junior Trade and City&Guilds. She also holds a Diploma in ‘Architectural Upstyling’ with world icon Manuel Rodriguez, a Diploma in ‘Hairworld World Cup Milano’ Silver Medal and a Diploma in ‘Hairworld World Cup Milano’ OMC competitor.
Melissa was placed in the finals in OMC Prestige Club 2012 'World Best Stylist of the Year' junior long hair.
Melissa attended MOHH academy which is a private hairdressing college established by the well known Maeve O Healy Hearte a personal friend of Vidal Sasson. Maeve is President for Ireland of Intercoiffure Mondail and has achieved many national and international awards& titles through out her hairdressing career.
This internationally recognised college has won many awards including 'OMC Golden Globe Best Academy' in which was presented in Milan at a cermony in which Melissa attended. It also won 'Intercoiffure Best Continental Award'. Melissa completed her training&qualifications and gained top quality knowledge&experience throught working alongside Irelands top stylists and one on one training with World Icon Manuel Rodriguez. Melissa has also met World Icons like Trevor Sorbie and Anthony Mascolo and has been photographed with them. She has attended exclusive hairdressing shows and has also been in photos published in Ireland leading magazine the 'Irish Hairdresser'.
Melissa has worked on many photoshoots both in Ireland and London, fashion shows and theatre shows which you can view in her portfolios. Melissa has also worked with alot of well known faces in the fashion and bridal industry.
Melissa's most recent work has been published in one of Irelands leading bridal magazines 'Irish Wedding Journal' Spring/Summer 2014 and 'Galway Now' September 2014 bridal issue which were released in stores nationwide and can now be viewed online.
Melissa is constantly undergoing new courses to keep up to date on the latest fashion trends in the hairdressing industry and she also competes in hairdressing competitions like the IHF(Irish Hairdressing Federation) which is held yearly where hairstylists and salons all over Ireland gather to compete and win titles.

Melissa has years of experience when it comes to weddings, she travels all over Ireland providing a call out service to your home or wedding venue on the morning of your wedding.
Melissa specialises in providing a freelance service so that brides can sit back relax and enjoy a glass of bubbly on their special morning with their bridal party in the comfort of their own surroundings.
Melissa will arrive and set up her 'Pop Up Styling Booth' where she will then recreate your desired look from your wedding trial. She will stay with you until you are dressed and ready to leave ensuring any final adjustments such as attaching the veil is complete so you feel relaxed and pampered on your special day.
