Caring for cancer patients and carers. The Lilly Foundation was founded by the family of the late Elizabeth O'Riordan, affectionately called Lilly, who lost her battle with cancer on December 20th 2007. Her love of life has empowered us to help others on their journey. The Lilly foundation is a registered charity and relies on donations from the public.
Donations can be made through a selection of events :
Corks Women's Mini Marathon.
Coffee Mornings.
Car Boot Sales.
Raffles.
Bag Packing.
Individual Donations.
Any many more.
Our mission is to enrich the lives of cancer patients and cancer carers to enable them to get on woth living as they undergo treatment. We also strongly believe in supposrting health care workers to continue to provide the very best care they can give.
We hope to carry out our mission in the following ways:
Provide make up workshops- thereby boosting morale.
Integrative therapies
Hairpiece Donations/subsidies.
Donation of accessories to hospitals
Retreat breaks
Alternative thereapies
Trave'/accomadation Grants.
