We had such a lovely open evening with wonderful performers and audience - thanks Macroom Lifelong Learning Festival for giving us the opportunity. As tomorrow is International Women's Day, I'll be sharing the music of some of my favourite women composers - feel free to post your favourites too! First up is Clara Schumann. She was the wife of the other Schumann, Robert (who you are more likely to have heard of) but was a world famous concert pianist and talented composer in her own right!
