Tennis & Squash Club including Gym/Bar & Lounge (110 guests capacity) with pool table and table tennis/High-spec catering facilities/12 person boardroom Founded in 1877. Limerick Lawn Tennis Club is home to the historic South of Ireland Senior, Junior and Veterans Tennis Championships. The club boasts 12 synthetic grass courts as well as 3 squash courts, a gym, sauna and modern changing facilities. The atmospheric clubhouse hosts a bar, high-spec catering facilities and a lounge capable of holding functions for up to 110 guests. Coaching is available to members and a structured junior coaching program is run in the Autumn and Winter. Social tennis is catered for with organised Club Nights and Ladies Morning (Thur.) provides a welcoming environment for those wishing to meet new playing partners.

❄️ Winter League News❄️ 4 LLTC teams are involved in quarter-final matches tomorrow which is knock-out from now on. Grade 5 Ladies (Barbara’s team) play Lakewood at 2pm. This is the only home match so any support would be greatly appreciated! The away matches are: 12noon Grade 6 Ladies (Elaine’s team ) vs Kinsale 1.30pm Grade 4 Ladies (Aislinn’s team) vs Bandon 2pm Grade 2 Mixed (Kenny’s team) vs Whitechurch Best of luck to all the competitors! 🎾🎾

Huge congrats to Yuan who won the Irish Indoors singles championship today in the Womens Singles 40 event in Belfast. Yuan was also runner up in the Women’s Doubles 40 event with Deirdre Collins. Huge congrats also to Deirdre Collins who won the Women’s Doubles 35 event with her partner Grainne O’Donoghue. Well done to all our other players who took part in the event - Tony O’Donoghue, John Reidy, Andrew Jones, Pamela Cox (Scott) - you did us proud - GO LLTC 🎾
Cliona’s Foundation in association with the Ursula Stokes Agency will host an evening of fashion in Limerick Lawn Tennis Club on Wednesday 21st February at 8pm Admission is free but donations will go directly to Cliona’s Foundation who provide nationwide assistance to the parents of sick children Complimentary finger food will be provided on the night

Ladies and Men’s Graded Doubles Event - Open to all grades including beginners Entry fee: €5 per player 1 Event Only Ladies Doubles or Men’s Doubles Format: Partner will be provided – Each Round Robin Group will contain players of a similar standard Players to organise their own games (approx. 4 weeks) First to 10 games - Championship Tiebreak at 9 games all - Finals will be best of 3 full sets This will be a Round Robin format expect approx. 4 matches Dates for your diary: • Closing date for entries Wednesday 21st February at 7pm • Games to be played from Friday 23rd February to Tuesday 20th March • Finals night Thursday 22nd March 2018 - Players must be available for Finals night Remember: Normal court fees are applicable - €5 per court after 6pm Results must be written up by winning pair - on Spring Doubles score sheets (Senior Tennis Notice Board)
❄️ Winter League Results❄️ Despite the snow this morning, the winter league teams completed their matches with varied results. Grade 1A Mixed had an impressive 4-1 win over Douglas and are top of their group so well done to Cj and his team! Grade 1B Mixed lost 4-1 to St. Anne’s so unfortunately are out of the competition. Although Grade 3 Men drew 2 all with Ballinlough it was not enough to make it to the knockout stage. There are now 5 teams through to the quarter-finals: Grade 1A Mixed Grade 2 Mixed Grade 4 Ladies Grade 5 Ladies Grade 6 Ladies Well done to all the competitors who travelled today and also throughout the winter, and best of luck to the teams going forward! ❄️🎾🌧🌦
