The Urban Co-Op is Limerick’s first co-operative grocery store which is owned and operated by the community.
The Limerick Community Grocery store is Limerick’s first grocery store to be owned, controlled and operated by the community. The community, or membership, comprises the consumers who shop in the store and the workers who work there. Membership is open to all. Our aim is to sell wholesome food at affordable prices, providing maximum transparency in the process.
