I'm a fully qualified Fitness Instructor with the NCEF in the University of Limerick, specialising in TRX Functional Training and Small Group Training. To be honest I didn't have any interest in fitness until I was dragged to a running club by a family member oh now about 8 years ago!!
There and then I was hooked, I met my now wife Sharon Collins and I never looked back since.
Ive run 4 Full Marathons since, numerous 10milers, half marathons and of course the fast 10ks, they where always my favorite.
Fast forwarding a bit now to last summer, my wife has now been a Fitness Instructor for the past 7 years and she was teaching a Boot camp out of the local Caherdavin Community Centre, Sharon was putting a run into the mix with here TRX Functional training class and asked me if I could help her with the run, so of course I was nervous, none the less I bit the bullet and took part of the running group out with her.
I GOT THE BUG!!!
I loved seeing Sharon's clients progress and enjoy their workouts week in week out and get so much stronger as the summer went on.
Shar convinced me to take the Fitness Instructors Course with the NCEF in the University of Limerick the following September, I absolutely LOVED it and have ever since.
I expanded my knowledge with Sharon in Mayo last December when we took the TRX Functional Training Course, since then I've been helping Sharon out in her classes in Caherdavin Community Centre learning from who I think is the best in limerick at what she does.
I am now looking forward to taking on my own Small Group Training Classes and Personal Training one to one, these small group training classes will have up to 4 Max in them this is so that I can maximize my time with you and get you the best results.

Ladies I'd like to take this opportunity to say how proud I am of all of you, well done on finishing out the 4 week programme in amazing style tonight 👍🏻💪🏻 I really want to encourage you all to continue on this amazing journey next week and bring your fitness to another level by joining in with the regular classes at 6:45pm Monday to Thursday and also the barbells class at 8pm on Monday night. Thank you so much to everyone who brought your kids to class yesterday I absolutely LOVED training them and I can't wait to see them all next week 😆💪🏻👍🏻I am delighted with the reaction to the start of the Kids TRX Fitness Classes, this is just a snip of all the amazing messages I've received after the class. I'm a firm believer in Kids having fun while also learning life lessons, new skills and most importantly getting fit and active and away from computer games/TVs. Hi All, I just want to let you know that I have a few spots in the kids class left and I'd really like to get our kids enjoying exercise because we feel that not every kid wants to play team sports and don't enjoy the competitive nature of team sports. I have a free class this Thursday, all you need to do is message me here on my page and I'll fill you in on more details 😀 Your kids will meet like minded friends who like what they like. After the huge success of our TRX Beginners programmes over the last 2 years I am thrilled to announce that we will be starting our TRX Beginners programme on the 13th of September. People always have a fear and perceptions around starting to exercise. Everybody needs to start somewhere and we've got the recipe to set you up for success. The most common thing we hear is that people thinking they need to be "fit" and "lose weight" before they come to a class! We say NO!! Unlike a gym where you're not sure where to start and have no idea how to use the equipment, we are class based, meaning that we will guide you throughout your entire class step by step! Once you step in the door with us you will be guided in how to use every piece of equipment set out for the class. You will be shown how to lift weights properly, how to squat, plank etc. You will be shown how to use the TRX Suspension Trainer correctly and most importantly you will be guided through the entire class so you will leave not only having had a great workout but also learning how to use the equipment properly. Our beginners classes are available for complete beginners, these classes are smaller, slower paced but still challenging. After you've finished the 4 week programme you will have the skill and understanding to progress into the faster paced classes on our timetable! Everyone needs to start somewhere, you just need to start!! This is where you start your new fitter, stronger, healthier life 😊 Beginners programme is for 4 weeks, 8 classes, 2 a week on a Tuesday and Thursday evening at 8:00pm for β¬60! Limited spaces available on this programme!! Winner will be announced on the 6th of September!!

Like & Share... **Free TRX for Kids class** I'm delighted to be telling you that I'm introducing TRX for Kids fitness classes starting this September. I will be giving a free TRX class for Kids on the 8th of September at 4:00pm( Pre booking only) to see what your kids think of it before they sign up for the programme! With the child obesity crisis getting worse by the day, it's important that our kids see fitness as a way of life and a fun activity. It's all about getting them moving, jumping and running so that they spend less time in front of the tv!
