Certificate I received today for a course i completed. Many Thanks to Wrigley's Extra Chewing Sugar Free Chewing Gum is very important for good oral hygiene. Many studies have shown that regular use of sugar free gum has a caries preventive effect by increasing salivation. In addition some gums contain xylitol as a sweetener, xylitol offers further caries preventive properties by interfering with bacterial metabolism. Sugarfree gum could be recommended as a substitute for a cariogenic confectionary. Alternatively an optimal time to recommend its use is after a cariogenic challenge.(after sugar food)

Your child's Oral Health Cycle 😁. Believe it or not caring for your baby's teeth should begin before you can even see them 😁 The development of primary teeth begins while the baby is in the womb. At about five weeks' gestation, the first buds of primary teeth appear in the baby's jaws. At birth, the baby has a full set of 20 primary teeth (10 in the upper jaw, 10 in the lower jaw) hidden within the gums.

If only all tubes of toothpaste where this big :) Toothpaste can be useful for many things apart from brushing your teeth! Did You Know 1.Toothpaste can protect you phone from scratches Lightly rub the screen with toothpaste using a cotton cloth and then wipe clean using a second cotton cloth. This protects screen from damage. Just like it protects our teeth from decay :) 2. When silver looks dull give it a polish with some toothpaste on a soft cloth and bring it back to life with a beautiful shine! 3. Crayon marks on your walls.. Toothpaste can remove stains from our teeth but also our walls :) Grab the tube of non gel toothpaste and give a squirt to the wall and give it a gentle scrub with a nail or scrubbing brush and then wipe with a damp cloth and the crayon will be no more. 4.Did you know that with a coating of non gel toothpaste on your bathroom mirror, this will stop it from fogging up at bath or shower time! Wipe it off before you get in the shower and hey presto the mirror is clear to use when you get out and it will refrain from having streaks that appear from condensation!

DID YOU KNOW!! An apple a day, so the saying goes, keeps the doctor away but they can help your teeth as well. Eating apples can actually aid in cleansing and brightening our teeth, due to their mildly acidic nature, they act as a mild astringent to your teeth- but don't peel the apple the fiber in the skin is essential in this process. Of course excessive acid is harmful to your teeth so don't forget to brush every morning & Night 😁
