The Seven Oaks Hotel in Carlow was the venue today for our second of three media training seminars for AILG. The 140 councillors present were very attentive and maintained they listened to every word!

In Virginia, Cavan today for a Media Training seminar with Association of Irish Local Government (AILG). Denise Canavan (Shannonside Northern Sound Radio) is currently giving a presentation on social media and local radio. More seminars, with county councillors from around Ireland, to come in Carlow on Saturday and Mullingar on February 22.
Thanks to everybody who took part in this mornings Media Training for Business workshop in Vandeleur Walled Gardens, Kilrush. Same time next Saturday 10am to 12 noon.
Hello all, Just a quick word to say that there are THREE places left on the inter-linked series of media training workshops in Kilrush on Saturday November 11, 18 and 25. They are aimed at businesses and community groups in Clare. The workshops will take place upstairs in the Vandeleur Walled Garden, Kilrush from 10am until 12noon and there MIGHT be a few scones beforehand. 😉 The workshops will include training on how to write and place a press release, how to identify news relating to your business/community group and how best to utilise social media.
