The Axis Project
Description
The Axis Project is a creative collaboration between Amelia Caulfield, Lisa Kenny and Natalia Caulfield. Our aim is to support the professional development of each member through peer sharing opportunities, group and individual practices, and collaborative projects.
Amelia Caulfield graduated from Galway Mayo Institute of Technology with a first class honours degree in Film and Documentary, where she specialised in Documentary, Cinematography, and Production Design. She received a Level 5 award in Film & Television Production from Galway Technical Institute.
Lisa Kenny graduated from Galway Mayo Institute of Technology with a BA Art and Design, and a BA (Hons) Design in Textiles. She attended Grennan Mill Craft School, Thomastown for two years. She also studied Photography in West Wales School of the Arts.
Natalia Caulfield has experience in Art Education studies with National College of Art and Design, Dublin. She received a Level 6 award in Art, Craft & Design (professional Practice) from Grennan Mill Craft School, Thomastown.
The Axis Project specialises in coordinating exhibitions, workshops, and events.

Copper Cage making
Another piece on display at Interim | new works by Amelia Caulfield and Lisa Kenny is a series of 'Copper Cages' by Amelia. There are three cages, a small, medium, and large. They are displayed on a beautiful wooden stand built by Gearoid. We are open all weekend 10-6!
Putting up Barriers
Another installation on show at Interim | new works by Amelia Caulfield and Lisa Kenny is 'Putting up Barriers', a Thread Installation by Lisa Kenny. Here's a short Behind the Scenes video of its making, featuring the ever helpful Noel and Natalia. Interim is open 10am-6pm until August 14th and coincides with AKA Fringe and Kilkenny Arts Festival
