What an amazing week so far at BaPA summer camp! It's been a real pleasure to work with so many enthusiastic, polite, mannerly and talented children and teenagers! We are look forwarding to seeing you all tomorrow for BAPA's end of summer camp showcase! A little teaser of a clip taken earlier in the week from one of our groups!

Highly recommend Festival Productions summer camp, always a fantastic week of fun drama singing dance and lots more! junior camp full but there are a couple of places left in their senior camp Age 12+ also possibility of being cast in their upcoming Christmas production "Annie"!

Hey Everyone, Summer is just flying by and we have been as busy as ever with castings, camps, a bapa app & script writing ahead of next year's show! In casting news we have had some more successes of late.. A huge congrats to Mark McKenna (Actors Lab) who has been cast in a new TV Series which he will begin to film in the UK this September. This new TV Series (can't disclose name as yet) is being directed by BAFTA Award Winning Director 'Shane Meadows'. Mark is very excited to start work on this very exciting new project. You might recall I sent a brief a while ago via email re. a new animation series.. I am delighted to announce that two of our students have been cast in two of the main voice-over roles. Big congrats to Charlotte Favre who has been cast as 'Purple Turtle' and Ronan Millar as 'Zing'. Both are super excited to start recording very soon! Well done also to Chloe & Lola who were recalled for same and might yet be involved. It's been a fantastic couple of months for our Maynooth Student Rachel Lynch who recently filmed for a new Skoda Commercial which is now on our screens. Rachel has also just wrapped on a short film with Peter Coonan which is now in post-production. Another TV Commercial on our screens is the Vodafone Online Commercial featuring Maynooth Tuesday student Leia Murphy, well done Leia! Congrats also to Aidan McCann & Senan Jennings who recorded a voice-over segment for a new short-film. A big well done to Clodagh McCarthy from our Leixlip School who was back on set last week for a stills/photo shoot for Irish Rail. Also a shout out to BAPA tutor Noella who also has been busy filming alongside Brennan Agency Actor Morgan C Jones who stars leading role in The Fox- this feature which gets its premiere in Europe this October and Noella also recently filmed The End of Sentence feature film staring oscar nominated John Hawkes, Logan lerman and Sarah Bolger. And finally we wish Leixlip Student Evie McNaughton the very best of luck tomorrow on set in Lucan for a film. A huge well done to all our students who have been auditioning, submitting self-tapes etc for various projects recently. You should all be so proud as we are of all of you! It's all go go go here at BAPA headquarters over the summer months! We are really looking forward to seeing all our wonderful students in September when our classes return and welcoming all our new members to BAPA :) And of course we will see plenty of you next week for BAPA's Summer Camp! Like Meghan Trainor says "I feel better when I'm dancing" and singing and acting.... AND We are so looking forward to be attending a welcoming party for our Italian friends this Thursday, our senior students will no doubt have a brilliant night meeting their peers before the camp commences :) We are now FULLY BOOKED in all age groups but we do have a waiting list in place so if you would like to add your child's name we will let you know asap if a place becomes available. Good mornin all' I have a commercial casting in for a toy company..The commercial is to advertise a new children's microphone..Director would love for any of our students - GIRLS aged 7-9, Good Singers & Performers to do a self-tape.. Director will shortlist after reviewing self-tapes and arrange a quick casting. Verse & Chorus is perfect, get practising with your hair-brushes!. Hello All.....hope you enjoyed the fabulous weather this week! We are feeling all summery at BAPA headquarters as we put the final touches to this year's SUMMER CAMP 😀 Always a highlight in the BAPA year, this year our Summer Camp performers can look forward to hits from the past year, including "Moana", "Sing", "Trolls", "Smurfs, The Lost Village"....other activities for the week include...... DRAMA - from confidence building to characterisation, acting on camera to stage and Loads of FUN, FUN, FUN drama games and exercises, kids will fully immerse themselves in every aspect of being an actor. DANCE - from hip - hop to pop to musical theatre to chart slammers, kids will bop their way through the week to many styles of dance. SINGING - exploring a range of styles, an array of songs for all kids to rush to microphone to work on technique and performance! And one of the absolute highlights.....recording a CD to bring home. BAPA SENIOR SUMMER CAMP - A very warm ciao to our Italian friends who will be joining us this year for another hugely enjoyable week of fun and laughter! Last year we were thrilled to welcome 35 Italian teenagers to our classes and they brought such fun, creativity and enthausim. Our senior students had the best time getting to know our visitors last year and share wonderful memories and friendships ever since! It was such a FANTASTIC experience for all involved. Our junior camp (3-4 years) is fully booked, a waiting list is in place. 5-7's, 8-11's and seniors - Limited availability. If you would like to talk to a member of the BAPA team re. Hey All 😀 little reminder that we are holding a quiz night in St.Mary's GAA in leixlip tomorrow night, starting at 8.30pm. Lots of really fun quiz rounds and of course musical numbers and general entertainment! Wouldn't be a bapa quiz without them 😉 All proceeds are going towards The Boy's national school, Maynooth fundraising. Do pop along If you can, promises to be a fun night! A big shout out to our very own Fiona and Noella who are busily preparing for their performance as part of the super sassy "Lady Marmalade" group, next Friday in the Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club. A huge thank you to JJ & her family for the extremely thoughtful gift, the cake was delicious and every last crumb was eaten!! We are sad to say farewell to many students who have been with us for years but are now entering LC or going to college (many congrats to some who we already know have been accepted into acting colleges for this Sep, we have no doubt that you will all do amazing in whatever career path you choose! ) you know you are always welcome to pop in and say hello and even take a class for us LOL, don't be strangers! We will genuinely miss you all!

Hey BAPA parents/guardians, FUN QUIZ night this FRIDAY 9th in St Mary's GAA Leixlip to support Noella & Fiona's fundraising for Lip Sync Boys School Maynooth.. We are working on finding our inner diva's as we set to become Lady Marmalade!!
