Sports massage should play an important part in the life of any sportsman or woman whether they are injured or not. Massage has a number of benefits both physical, physiological and psychological.
Sports massage can help maintain the body in generally better condition, prevent injuries and loss of mobility, cure and restore mobility to injured muscle tissue, boost performance and extend the overall life of your sporting career.
Stress and Pain Reduction
Sports massage therapy can help a person manage stress. When a person receives a sports massage, their body releases neurotransmitters called endorphins. According to American Spa, endorphins are released by two centers of the brain known as the pituitary gland and the hypothalamus, and they act as the body's natural pain reliever. Endorphins that are released due to receiving a sports massage help to decrease anxiety, provide pain relief, improve mood and enhance a person's state of well-being

Feeding our children the healthiest food possible and actually getting them to eat it can be a struggle! to say the least. I used to spend time preparing separate meals to keep all tummies happy, I stopped this about 3 years ago, it was nonsense really and a touch of madness. Last week started a new night in our house where the child picks the meal, takes note of what's in stock and writes the shopping list of what's needed. They then prepare and serve the meal. Well wow I was impressed A who is 11, chose chicken stir fry with bean sprouts, peppers and minions served with fried brown rice. Not a scarp was left. This week it's J's turn and I can't wait. Happy tummies all round.
