TIP FOR TODAY ... It's great when your shellac manicure is perfect after two + weeks, however it can be, not so great for your nails. Your nails need some sunlight in order to grow so keeping them covered for long period can make the weak. If you're a shellac-o-holic and can't be without it; remove it and wear a vinylux polish in between your shellac manicure sometimes wear just a clear or translucent colour in order to allow some sunlight to those nails.

TIP FOR TODAY... What is the difference between. Shellac and Gelish. Ladies... As you are all aware there are many Gel polishes on the market today, Shellac and Gelish being the 2 leading brands. Shellac.. is a POWER polish which has been developed for your natural nails. Contrary to what is said shellac Does Not damage the natural nail when removed properly. Shellac is developed for TWO week wear and to be removed by a qualified nail technician. Removal is quick and simple and breaks down in as little as 5mins. Gelish on the other hand is a stronger longer wearing Gel based polish. When removing Gelish the top coat must be Brocken before removal. Both Shellac and Gelish are removed by wrapping each finger with a nail wrap, and an appropriate amount of acetone. You fingers are never saturated, dipped or soaked directly into acetone for removal. Remember there are many brands of Gel polish NOT ALL Gel polish is Shellac.

TIP FOR TODAY ., What tan should I wear? Skin tone, eye and hair colour are all an important part of your choice BRIDES..A light natural glow would be recommended. Taking into consideration the wedding dress, lighting, photographs and makeup. Your skin should look healthy with a sun kissed glow. My tan of choice .. Tan Organics or Vita Liberata light (Hawaii) the mother of the bride should wear a light natural looking tan also. It would be an idea for the bride to arrange for the bridal party to get the same brand tan. This way the shades look more uniform in pictures. Also recommended, about six weeks leading up to the big day arrange for tanning trials. A GIRLS NIGHT OUT... you can wear any tan you like, light, medium or dark tan, but you should take into consideration the colour you'll be wearing. E.g. If you're wearing white, tan two days before your night out.

TIP FOR TODAY ... Some many women ask .., what is the best tan to get'? The answer is ... it all depends on what your tan is for, however no matter what tan you choose your tan is only as good as your skin prep. Old tan un-exfoliated skin unshaven legs are all big NO, NOs. these may cause your tan to be uneven and dirty looking. Even your choice of clothing after your tan is important loose dark clothing is the best choice. Leggings, jeggings and jeans leave marks around the legs waist and knees. Make sure all makeup is removed and your skin is free of oils, deodorant and perfumes. Wearing a top with perfume can transfer to your skin leaving a green hue after your tan so make sure you're wearing something chosen for your tanning appointment.

TIP FOR TODAY... Brows are the THING these days. Everyone wants gorgeous brows. What is best... waxing , threading or tweezing all these processes are great for brows but,if excessively done can lead to thinned out brows. Brows should be done no more than once every 3 weeks or even 4 weeks depending on your growth rate. This allows growth between treatments for a better shaping. Brushing your brows every day morning and night stimulates the blood to the root of your brow hairs and also trains the brow to lay nice and flat.
