facebook.comWhat a busy couple of weeks. 3 heat pumps fitted, 1st fix of new house and today finished running hot and cold pipes before insulation and underfloor heating get laid in the next week or so.
Some before and after pictures of a recent heat pump upgrade. Took out an old solterra ground source unit and replaced with top of the line Thermia Diplomat inverter unit with 300lt hot water tank.
A couple of heat pumps that I recently finished. Both fitted into existing systems without too much hassle.
Some good news coming in April 2018. The government have announced that they will be introducing grants for the installation of heat pumps for existing houses of approximately €3500, full details will be released soon. Along with the a renewable incentive scheme for non domestic buildings e.g schools, factories, etc. So anybody thinking of upgrading their heating systems in the new year this will bring some much needed relief. More news to follow.
Bit of a tight squeeze but we managed to get it to fit. MHRV system with manifolded ductwork supplied by Aerhaus. Extracting heated stale air from bathrooms and kitchen and delivering heated fresh air to living rooms and bedrooms.
I would let to give a big thank you to the people at Ashgrove Renewables and Thermia heat pumps for a great couple of days in Arvika Sweden. We received a warm welcome, we’re taken on a tour of the factory and found out about a few new products that are coming out in the very near future.
Work has been a very busy lately. Just a few photos to show I haven't gone into hiding. Some ongoing jobs and one finished job. All well have Thermia heat pumps. 2 Air to Water and 1 ground source.
Another project coming to an end. A 13kw Thermia Atec air to water pump and Total indoor unit with underfloor heating on ground floor and aluminium radiators on first floor.
