A practitioner with twenty years of clinical experience and specialized post-graduate training; delivering evidence-informed treatments with a high level of skill. I have a special interest in the management of complex neuromusculoskeletal pain disorders. Neuromusculosketal is a term used to describe injuries or dysfunction to the muscular, skeletal, nervous and motor systems of the body.
Academic training in: Manual Therapy, Spinal Manipulation, Movement assessment and Correction, Cognitive functional therapy, Womens Health, Neurodynamics, Therapeutic exercise, Sports Rehabilitation, post operative rehabilitation, 'Myofascial Dry Needling' of trigger points to relieve muscle spasm and pain using ultrafine filament needles.
I believe passionately in the clinical application and teaching of undertaking a comprehensive analysis of movement and function and continually strive to bridge the gap between science and clinical practice in neuromusculoskeletal pain.
