O'Gradys on the Pier Restaurant
Description
Welcome to O'Gradys on the pier Described as a "true hidden gem" on Ireland's romantic west coast, O'Grady's on the Pier in Barna is uniquely situated on the shores of Galway Bay. Located right down on the Pier in Barna Village, O'Grady's offers a stunning, relaxed location in which to enjoy the freshest, locally sourced and well prepared seafood and meat dishes.
A Satisfying Dining Experience Awaits You
Since opening in 2000, O'Grady's on the Pier has established itself as one of Ireland's finest Seafood Restaurants. The infamous O'Grady's Seafood Chowder alone is enough to keep the seafood connoisseur coming back for more. The seafood specials change on a daily basis, ensuring that the regular diner is never bored and only the freshest fish is offered. There is plenty for the non fish lover to choose from with the lunch and dinner a la carte menus offering a wide range of Irish meat & poultry dishes. There are vegetarian options and the Kitchen Team are always happy to accommodate various dietary requirements. The Kitchen and Front of House teams both strive to ensure that all guests really enjoy their dining experience with us. We are lucky in that we have built up a great mix of local loyal followers and also attract a lot of tourists visiting Galway from within Ireland and abroad. We are happy to entertain intimate parties of two out for a bite, celebrating an anniversary or special occasion, or to cater to corporate diners eager to show off what Ireland can offer in terms of good cuisine and amazing landscape, or indeed larger family groups celebrating birthdays, christenings and weddings. We have gained a wealth of experience and enjoyment over the past nine years welcoming our various customers and doing our best to give them a unique, satisfying dining experience. We appreciate all the custom and hope to continue to "serve great food well" for many years to come.
"O'Grady's on the Pier is a must-visit for anyone travelling through or living near beautiful Barna. In fact this busy seafood restaurant is reason enough to visit the West, combining, wowing diners with seafood so fresh it's as if it leaps straight from the sea to the pan and onto the plate". Sarah Grennan, Hotel & Catering Review
"Recent visits have found this charming place on top form - the cooking skill and style is impressive, and attentive, helpful staff back up the kitchen well, ensuring that the laid back atmosphere is genuinely relaxing". Georgina Campbell
