What a weekend we had! We had an amazing Pre Release for Dominaria and have to give a huge thank you to all of you that took part in it and made it such a hugh success. We also celebrated our 6th birthday where we had poppers, party hats, cake and more! Now, we are looking to keep that momentum going as we not only have a bunch of new Releases and Restocks, we also have loads of events on this week on top of the usual suspects. Have a look below! NEW RELEASES: Magic the gathering Dominaria release – After the great weekend we had with the Pre-Release, we are getting all the Dominaria goodies in the store this week! On Friday, you will be able to pick up Dominaria Boosters, Bundle Boxes, Play mats and Planeswalker decks. Make sure to get your quick as this set is proving to be extremely popular. Gamesworkshop: – This week, we are getting the second wave (Pun!) of Idoneth Deepkin! You can add Volturnos, High King of the Deep, an Akhelian King and the Namarti Reavers to your collections. These stunning models are must haves and are partially responsible for the ever growing number of Age of Sigmar Players we have in the store. Boardgames : - Abyss: Leviathan - News from the outpost is worrying. The Leviathans, these terrifying sea monsters, are converging towards the border and threatening the Kingdom. With new spells, items, mechanics, and a new monster, this expansion immerses players in the Arkham Files universe as they confront the dangers threatening Arkham from within. -Rising 5: Runes of Asteros – A co-operative deduction and adventure game with a mobile phone application or a game master. Players must find the answer Code with the four Runes in the right arrangement before the evil power devours the planet. Players can explore the planet to collect energy or clues and to fight against evil monsters. When players try to unlock the code, the App or the game master will give signs that lead to right code. If players successfully find the code, they win; if the Darkness Level reaches the Red Moon because of the evil monsters or if the Character card deck is exhausted, the players lose the game. RESTOCKS: Dungeons and Dragons Stuff - We are getting in all of the Dungeons and Dragons Books that you need to run and play in your own adventures. We are getting Players Handbooks, Dungeon Master Guides, Monster Manuals and adventure modules. We are also getting back in the much sought after starter boxes. Makes sure to grab yours quick! EVENTS: All of the usual suspects are happening this week with Thursday Night open gaming from 6 to 10, FNM from 6 to 10 on Friday, Yu Gi Oh Locals during Thursday Night Gaming and again on Saturday from 12pm to 6pm; and Sunday Boardgame meet up group at 2pm for anyone looking to join in and play some boardgames. However, alongside these, we also have a bunch of exciting events on this week! Yu Gi Oh: Flames of destruction sneak peak is this Saturday alongside the Yu Gi Oh Locals. Draft a deck from the new set and get a first look at all the new set. New Releases: Dominaria Pre-Release: As mentioned above, the Dominaria pre-release is on this Friday at mid-night, all day Saturday and all day Sunday. People can take part in as many as they wish and can sign up today in store. More details will be below in the events section Age of Sigmar – Idoneth Deepkin: The newest creation from the minds of Games Workshop, the newest incarnation of the Elves hit the shelves this week. An Underwater Themed army brings some of the most creative and stunning models along with a completely new style of game play. The Battletome arrives along with the first wave of new models including the Aspect of the Sea, the Aspect of the Storm, the Namarti Thralls, the Warden of the Soul Ledger, the Gloomtide Shipwreck and the personalised water themed dice. A New Yu Gi Oh Structure deck arrives this week, the Lair of Darkness. A preconstructed deck containing 2 Ultra Rares, 3 Super Rares and 36 common cards. Magic the Gathering are also releasing Relic Tokens this week to help represent your tokens in game with special art for each token Restocks Fallout: The Boardgame: We are getting the highly requested Boardgame back in stock this week! Battle through the post-apocalyptic wasteland and gather your bottle caps as you fight off bloat flys, bandits and super mutants. A must have for all fans of the RPG game, this captures all the fun and character from the series and makes for a fantastic board game with easy to learn and highly replayable mechanics Carcasonne: The tile-placement game in which the players draw and place a tile with a piece of southern French landscape on it. The tile might feature a city, a road, a cloister, grassland or some combination thereof, and it must be placed adjacent to tiles that have already been played, in such a way that cities are connected to cities, roads to roads, etcetera. Having placed a tile, the player can then decide to place one of his meeples on one of the areas on it: on the city as a knight, on the road as a robber, on a cloister as a monk, or on the grass as a farmer. When that area is complete, that meeple scores points for its owner. Exploding Kittens: a kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette. Players take turns drawing cards until someone draws an exploding kitten and loses the game. The deck is made up of cards that let you avoid exploding by peeking at cards before you draw, forcing your opponent to draw multiple cards, or shuffling the deck. The game gets more and more intense with each card you draw because fewer cards left in the deck means a greater chance of drawing the kitten and exploding in a fiery ball of feline hyperbole.
