The place I call home. I travelled a lot when i was younger. I have so many rich memories of exotic Italian beaches, French markets full of every conceivable colour in the painters palette, eating freshly harvested figs on a mountain side in Greece and an arduous, yet spirit filled road trip from Georgia to New Mexico with my son, Sean, when he was four. I eventually settled my fiery passion for adventure in the West Coast of Ireland. It is here that the journey inward deepened and I once again began to appreciate the beauty of being 'in place', rooted, and part of a community. These days, more than the excitement of far off places, I enjoy watching my plants grow, seeing the daily changes in tone and shade of our Wild Atlantic Way, and watching the fishing boats leave the harbour through a veil of misty rain. The pause between each breath, I have discovered, is where the real mystery resides. This is the place I call home. Next week I'm launching my new blog. I have been deliberating about sharing my visual storytelling and writing with a wider audience for some time, but I have felt vulnerable about doing so for a number of reasons. However, after testing the water on Instagram, and receiving such encouragement from my new online community, I've decided to follow my heart and take a leap of faith. Life is too short to let fear stand in the way of our creativity. 😊 I would really appreciate your support, so follow my new page if you would like to join me on this new inspiring journey. I quite fancy a twilight mindfulness boat tour... what do you all think? Post your ideas for me to consider - maybe an Island retreat? Yoga, mindfulness, nature... let me know what inspires you? Feeling blessed by today's glorious weather. All my little seeds are planted; now all I have to do is sit and watch them grow. 😘 Found some little gems at Dangan nursery today, including some Golden Ball turnips. I've been looking for them for ages. I hope you all had a lovely day too. See all next week in class. 👍
