The Galway Christmas Market is now packed away for another 11 months of hibernation. Galway Christmas Market, now in its eighth year in residence in Eyre Sq, is firmly established as a feature of the Christmas season. With 65% of our participants being local, this truly is a home-grown Galway event. We have enlisted some well-known local friends and neighbours of the market to help us to share a sense of the sights, sounds and atmosphere of this annual magical month in Eyre Sq. Thanks to Justin Mc Carthy, Michelle Lally, Connacht Rugby, Marc Roberts, Roisin Dubh, Tiny Dancer by A Song for Lily-Mae, Mocha Beans, Galway Simon Community, Anthony Ryans and Fallers Jewellers The View Wheel for being great sports and helping us out with this. We'd like to thank all those who took part this year - traders, charities, artisan producers and performers.
