The death has occurred of Bro Michael Burke O.S.F. Franciscan Brothers, Mountbellew, Galway / Corrandulla, Galway and Chairperson of HRC Board of Management. BURKE Bro. Michael (Michael John) O.S.F. Minister General, Franciscan Brothers, Mountbellew, Co. Galway and Gortroe, Corrandulla, Co. Galway August 18th 2016 (following an accident). Predeceased by his father John, and brother Eddie, Deeply regretted by his mother Sarah, brothers Kieran, Christy, Paddy, Tommy and Johnny, sisters Mary, Nonie, Una and Sally, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, his Franciscan Brothers, relatives, friends, colleagues and college staff. Rest in Peace Reposing at the Franciscan Oratory, Mountbellew, on Sunday evening from 4 o’c to 8 o’c. and also in the Burke Family home in Gortroe, Corrundulla, on Monday evening from 5 o’c to 8 o’c. Requiem Mass on Tuesday in Corrandulla Church at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Cregg Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Franciscan Brothers’ Mission fund “Welcome Sister Death!”
