-The Swiss Ball has been used from the early 1900s however its use for rehabilitation purposes was only discovered in the 1980s and it has only been since the 1990s that its potential as a fun & effective form of exercise has been maximised. A Swiss/Fitball is the most effective tool available to increase strength, balance and flexibility at core level.
-Cardio Pump is a combination of a traditional step aerobics class combining cardivasular exercises and resistance exercises alternating between basic step & floor combos and strength training.
What is Kettlebell Training?
Kettlebells are cast iron weights, ranging from 5 lbs to over 100 lbs, shaped like a ball with a handle for easy gripping. The kettlebell originated in Russia and was popular in the U.S. decades ago, but has hit a resurgence in the last few years with a flurry of classes, videos and books. The reason? Kettlebells offer a different kind of training using dynamic moves targeting almost every aspect of fitness – endurance, strength, balance, agility and cardio endurance. People love it because it's challenging, efficient and you only need one piece of equipment.
-Circuit training refers to a 21 of carefully selected exercises arranged consecutively to increase strength, cardio fitness and an all-over body toning workout.
-I have years of experience within the health & fitness industry,ranging from one to one and group classes in various types of training.
- I currently teach swimming lessons one to one or groups to children and adults.
- I have a wide range of knowledge of nutrition through my fitness training, from losing weight to gaining muscle mass.
