Magpie Books is a family run independent bookshop located in the picturesque village of Enniskerry. Located in the heart of Enniskerry Village, Magpie Books is an independent bookshop run and owned by Amy and Frank Farrell. Our cosy bookshop is the perfect place to relax and browse through our range of books in peace. We stock new books, catering to all ages and tastes. If the book you are looking for is not in stock, we will be happy to order it in for you.
Enniskerry Village is always worth a visit. Located just minutes from the M50 off the N11 it is only a short distance from Dublin. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery and walks, as well as the magnificent Powerscourt House and Gardens. There are plenty of places to get something to eat and a selection of boutiques, gift shops and of course the wonderful Magpie Books. There is ample free parking in the Bog Meadow, less than a minute's walk from the village itself.

There was great fun today at Magpie Books for our festive Story-time. We read Stickman, When Santa Came to Stay, and the Snowman (The Book of the Classic Film). Afterwards the kids made cute hedgehog Christmas tree decorations and they all went home with a Snowman themed goodie bag. Thanks to all for coming and making it such a fun event. 🎅 🎅 🎅
