Candle holder . Wanted to create something a little different this time. Had a piece of sycamore. With not a lot of grain and texture to it. So decided to blow torch the out side of it, then spraypaint it black. And then sprayed the inside green. Has 14 glass tea light holders and 14 tea lights. And large candle in the middle. Tea lights are slightly tilted outwards to take heat away from the top candle. Could be used as a centre piece all year round and then at christmas time ad a garland to it instead of the tea lights. Would be a fantastic centre piece on any table. Measuring 11 inches wide and 8inches tall to top of candle. My latest piece .A Chopping board or just a cheese board. I made this for a customer before christmas but didnt want to stick it up till i knew the customer had it. It is made from sycamore, measuring 18inches long , 10 inches wide and 3inches thick. It's finished with 5coats of food safe oil, so no matter what type of food is on it, its completely safe to eat off. I also made a stand for it to so it can be displayed in a kitchen or just used as a decorative piece in a hallway or sittingroom. Spalted Beech clock. Measuring 14 inches wide and high. And 3inches thick. The black rim on it is done with a spiralling tool first of all to get the lines all around on it. And then the blow torch is taking out to burn. I also sprayed gold spray on it. So there is a tint of gold off the burnt piece.😁

My latest piece. Spalted beech lamp. Measuring 6inches wide and 19inches high and 25inches high with lamp fitting and bulb. Made from one solid piece of timber rather than a couple of pieces glued together. Hope you like it.
