Louth County Libraries operates 5 branch libraries across Louth as well as a Mobile and Schools service. The library service in Louth provides adult lending services including Ebooks & Eaudio downloadable books, audio-visual material, children's services, local history and genealogical services, reference services, provision on local and national newspapers, periodicals, language and computer learning and public internet access.

For this evening's Children's Movie Night in Dundalk Library we will be showing the sequel to one of Disney's most iconic animations; The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. The film will start at 6pm.

Great fun yesterday in Dundalk Library at our Junior Table Quiz. There were some tough questions but they were no match for the brains of Lucas Doyle with Cian & Conall Watkins, a big congratulations to the three boys. And a special thank you to our quizmaster Ray.

Dogs Trust Dog Safety Workshop at Drogheda Library. Thank you so much to Audrey Gough of Dogs Trust and her cute dog Lucy for a wonderful workshop at Drogheda library this morning. Thank you to all the children and parents who attended and learned how to be "dog smart" , what to do if frightened of a dog, and how to keep safe around dogs at home and out and about.There was huge interest in the workshop and children were most enthusiastic to participate as Audrey taught them all about dog safety. Books on dogs and dog care were on display in the library to coincide with the workshop and the participants got the opportunity to borrow from the selection .An excellent event with great praise from those who attended. #louthlibraries
