ASHR Summer 2017 Well done to all of the students working 1, 2 and 3 years above their school year in maths and English. Its been a tough year for some of you but you have achieved so much. Congratualtions to all the parents too, whose support has made it possible for their children to achieve their goals. Well done to all!

This is Jessie Li, recipient of the J League award at the Dun Laoghaire Study Centre. This award recognises students who have completed studying difficult algebra concepts like factorisation, working with polynomials, irrational numbers, and proofs of identities and inequalities. Jessie is in 2nd Year and many of these topics are on the syllabus for the Leaving Cert. Jessie started her Kumon journey at a nearby centre three years ago and transferred over to my class a few months ago. I have been amazed at her maturity and dedication to her work. She regularly tells me when she is ready to move on or if she wants to do some more repeat work on a particular topic. She is supported at home by her parents who take her to class every week and correct her homework daily. This award is as much a recognition of their hard work as it is of Jessie's. Congratulations Jessie and keep up the good work!

Ayush got his ASHR maths certificate and medal last week as he is studying ahead of his school age. He has been working very hard on algebra for the past few months and his hard work has been paying off. He is a very dedicated student and its a pleasure to have him in the classroom.
