Charitable Cause
10% of all proceeds go to the Book Aid International Charity. Book Aid International increases access to books and supports literacy, education and development in sub-Saharan Africa. They provided 507,787 new books to over 2,000 libraries last year alone and have sent more than 30 million books to partner libraries since 1954.
The website itself was set up and is maintained by an Irish computer engineering student, Evan Morgan. It was set up as a great way for nerds to show off their love of books.
