St John Ambulance- Ballyfermot Division
Description
The St John Ambulance Ballyfermot division is one of the oldest divisions within the brigade and offers first aid training for all ages and event cover. Ballyfermot division was established in 1975 by brigade member Mr John McGrath who is now acting commissioner. Our first meetings took place in the hall of St Louises primary school. We then moved to Ballyfermot Community Center now known as the Civic Centre, and eventually to the health Center which was our home for 40 years. Since then we have been training in the Cherry Orchard community and youth centre.
