ARC Cancer Support Centre
Description
ARC Cancer Support is a voluntary organisation which provides a range of professional support, complementary therapies and counselling services to men and women living with cancer. Coming to terms with cancer can be very difficult. In ARC we offer comfort through this period of stress and anxiety together with psychological and emotional support.
We have a team of psychotherapists, counsellors, reflexologists and yoga teachers, administration and fundraising staff. ARC could not survive without the support of a host of brilliant volunteers who help to manage the ‘drop in’ centres and fundraise for ARC.
Our services are FREE OF CHARGE but we rely heavily on fundraising efforts to provide these in our two centres in Dublin:
Northside: 65 Eccles Street
Southside: 559 South Circular Road
How can YOU help?
Get involved by donating, supporting others, taking part in one of our challenges, raising funds in others ways - Family Picnic, Comedy Night, Cupcake Sale, Church Gate Collection, Sponsored Triathlon, 5-a-side, Bingo Night, Race in Lace, create a viral for ARC and help raise awareness, help your workplace nominate ARC oas their Charity of the Year, volunteer your time and skills.....the list is as open as your imagination!
We'd love to hear from you!
