Description
I create original, authentic and creative content that exceeds the expectations and technological barriers of current video production standards. I aim to produce high quality material and strive to stay current with advancing tools in this area. My goal is to make anything video, broadcast or film possible. I believe good quality pictures last a lifetime and I continuously aim to capture the essence of the events, promotions or campaigns I work on from an authentic perspective and in doing so engage people on a much broader and more meaningful scale. I use only the most modern technology and am proficient in all of the current photo and video editing software available.I am a very hard-working person who is reliable and gives 110% to anything I take on.
I attended DCU for a Bachelor of Science degree in Multimedia, and during my time there I worked on several projects, including leading a multi-platform media crew in covering a national dance competition and producing a handful of viral videos in my final year, accumulating over 300,000 views in total. While there I was deputy station manager of DCUtv, the University’s television station, which involved the training of members of DCU’s Media Production Society (MPS) in videography, live broadcasting and post-production. In December 2014 I was the executive producer of DCUtv’s 24 Hour Broadcast where I co-ordinated over 200 students in a live television environment, creating a full day of original content and raising €5000 for charity.
I was also an Intern Videographer at Balls.ie, I was tasked with many responsibilities, including conducting a series of interviews with well-known sports professionals in various locations around Ireland and also editing the interview footage with the aim of increasing audience engagement and reach. During my time with Balls.ie I was also given the responsibility of making a video in conjunction with O2 for the Irish rugby “#thirteen” campaign in 2014. This was a hugely successful campaign in Irish media and one I was lucky enough to participate and contribute to.
