Neighboring Trinity College, Dublin’s historic Molly Malone Statue which is across the street, and meters from Dublin’s famous Grafton street. We are very central and close to all the main city center attractions. For nearly 20 years the restaurant has been on Suffolk Street and in this time we have aged well developing and adapting our business to suit the changing tastes and demands of our discerning customers. With a capacity of 140 seats Pacino’s offers an old world vibe – brickwork, wooden floors, mosaic tile and soft lighting combine to create a rustic atmosphere to complement the simple but fantastic authentic Italian food.
Chef Patron Luca Mazza from Milan brings Italian cooking at its best. Regarded as the finest Italian chef in the country, Luca’s dishes are truly made the Italian way with recipes true to their origin without been compromised or altered over the years. At Pacino’s our aim is to provide a menu accessible to all. It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our great friend, work colleague and chef patron Luca Mazza. Luca passed away suddenly on Thursday night after a short illness in Kilkenny Hospital. Words cannot express the deep shock and remorse that is being felt and the huge void he has left behind. He now cooks for the heavens above. Luca will be waked at home at 25 McGamhna Road, Carlow from 3pm tomorrow Sunday. His removal mass will take place Monday at 11am at Bennekerry Chapel, Co Carlow, followed by a ceremony in Glasnevin cemetery Dublin at 1.30pm. A bus will leave from Suffolk St at 9am Monday morning for mourners wishing to travel. Persons wishing to take the bus are encouraged to contact the restaurant. Pacino's will be closed all day Monday as a mark of respect. Rest in Peace.
