Service Capsules combine Openet’s proven technology with Accelerate’s ecosystem of “Best of Breed” Virtual Network Function Vendors. Delivering pre-integrated, pre-tested network functions, management and monetization to provide fully functional service offerings, including vEPC, vIMS and Test capabilities. Deployed as an adjunct solution alongside an operators existing infrastructure enables CSPs to take advantage of NFV and cloud like deployments today, without the need for the massive transformation, procurement and organizational changes normally involved when adopting NFV. Service Capsules can also offer a convenient entry point to supplement larger transformation projects with a number of smaller, more agile solutions to quickly deliver the system capabilities required by digital service providers. Initially two Service Capsules offerings are available: · Voice over LTE (VoLTE) providing a swift and low-risk path to VoLTE enablement. · IoT infrastructure providing an integrated, tested, M2M (Machine to Machine) and IoT (Internet of Things) encapsulated solution. http://www.openet.com/doc-redirect/index_form2.php?docid=667&caid=70132000000RXg6&cname=Q4-Accelerate-ServiceCapsuleOverview&source=Accelerate
Openet launches Openet Accelerate: a new business unit for immediate virtualised services | Press Release | Openet
Openet Accelerate is a new dedicated business unit focused on delivering service capability using automated, virtualised and cloud based networks. Automated service provisioning gives service providers benefits such as service agility and improved time-to-market for new services. It also allows providers to target new markets that were previously impossible due to the cost and difficulty of deployment. We provide an adjunct approach to virtualisation through our pioneering Service Capsule offerings. These pre-integrated, pre-tested solutions enable CSPs to take advantage of NFV and cloud like deployments today, without the risks inherent with the massive transformation, procurement and organizational changes normally involved when adopting NFV. Apart from our Service Capsule offerings, we provide the building blocks to enable CSPs, MVNx, enterprises, system integrators and virtual network functions vendors to solve specific problems when building their own solutions for automated software-centric networks”. We also provide strategic consultancy specialising in the business aware management of automated software-centric networks in areas such as use case innovation, NFV automation and VNF on-boarding. http://www.openet.com/about-us/press-room/press-releases/openet-launches-openet-accelerate-new-business-unit-immediate
