Goal setting for the new year is the hardest task for many new gym goers. They have high hopes of getting into a certain shape but have no idea how to actually do it . They then set some sort of unrealistic goal inside a unrealistic time line. The first 4-6 weeks will go plan due to output / calorie expenditure they creature with the new found gym buzz so weight/ fat loss is nearly allways guaranteed in the first 4 weeks. Then comes the plateau (slowing down/ no progress). This normally happens due to lack of knowledge/understanding of ones body (what has worked for them nutritionally & physically) . They then get frustrated and something will give either a food/ drink binge, loss of motivation to train or overall defeatism towards fitness goal because it's become to hard work. I've talked before about investing money and time toward your health & fitness and when you reach this so called plateau it's time to seek help from someone who knows what's your talking about . Because they real hard truth is you probably have no fucking idea what your doing in the gym/ kitchen or what your actual goals are.

Back at it 💪💪 Really busy today with clients right up until 9pm. It's fantastic to see such a interest in the gym before the new year starts. It's normal for people to go into hibernation for the few days between Christmas & new year. It's a great opportunity to get in and put some of the extra Christmas calories to good use .

Don't be that person come the new year . Make time and invest in your health. Your won't repair a years damage in two weeks. My advice invest in a Pt . Weather it be for one or three sessions per week so you have some guidance and structure. Most people drop out by the end of January because they have no goal or idea what they should be doing in the gym. Places still available for my January transformation. 8 weeks of hard work has paid off for my client Ed. He worked in my lads small pt group that trained 3 times per week. Over the 8 weeks we implemented small Changes according to Ed's weekly progress. We maintained a very flexible food plan that was just based around a Calorie and protein goal this gave ed the ability to fit in foods he liked whenever he had a craving.
