Professional massage therapist in Dublin, Ireland. Thai Yoga Massage, Acupressure for chronic pain/orthopedic disorders, abdominal massage (Chi Nei Tsang) Thai Acupressure

Thai Acupressure is the heart of the medical tradition of Thailand. Sometimes referred to as "Thai trigger point therapy", Thai acupressure is a series of compressions and presses (deep slow pressure) along specific lines and points following a protocol to bring relief to many common ailments and orthopedic disorders.

Thai Massage/Body Work

Also known as "Thai yoga massage", this is an ancient healing system combining Thai Acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures. There is constant body contact between the giver and receiver, but rather than rubbing on muscles, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked. A full body treatment would typically last for 2 hours, although shorter sessions for targeted treatment can be arranged.

Abdominal Massage (Chi Nei Tsang)

The internal organs can be affected by negative emotions such as fear, anger, anxiety, depression and worry. Problems can also be caused by overwork, stress, accidents, surgery, drugs, toxins, poor food and bad posture. The abdomen becomes a dumping ground for negativity and stress. The abdomen can process some of the emotional waste, but more often it can't keep up with the flow. The energetic center of the body located at the navel becomes congested and cut off from the rest of the body.

Chi Nei Tsang, literally meaning - energy (life-force) of the internal organs, is focused upon the release of undigested emotions, toxins and tension. Through a combination of light touch and Chi Gung (life energy cultivation) the practitioner can restore balance to the abdomen and thus, the whole body.

Thai Foot Massage

Thai foot massage is a massage of the feet and also lower legs, it is both invigorating and deeply relaxing and involves hands on massage, stretching and acupressure to stimulate reflex points. It has elements of Shiatsu, Reflexology, and Chinese massage incorporated into the treatment. Thai foot massage leaves the receiver feeling relaxed, balanced and invigorated, is great for tired feet, improving circulation and lymph movement in the feet and lower legs and improving flexibility. Strongly reccomended for those who have trouble sleeping/relaxing.
