Strong Roots is about knowing where you're from so you can grow to where you want to be! Tasty and honest Frozen Vegetable recipes. Life today is hectic and fast-paced, with many people forgoing their healthy eating habits for the sake of convenience. That’s where Strong Roots comes in. We are a start-up frozen food company located in the center of Dublin, hell-bent on revolutionising frozen vegetables with passion and innovation.
Our initiatives are rooted in honesty. We believe it’s important people know how their food is sourced, and from our early beginnings, we've established an open conversation about where and how we obtain our ingredients. We believe taste and convenience go hand in hand, with modern advancements in food technology enabling us to provide a frozen product packed with nutrition and a fresh taste.
In our first year, we’ve spread our roots to over 800 stores in Ireland as well as entering the UK market in a number of Whole Foods stores. Our new Kale and Quinoa burgers have been met with great excitement and can be found in SuperValu, Dunnes Stores and, a growing number of independent retailers (more stockists to be announced soon!). The cherry on top of our first year in business was winning a Great Taste award in August 2016.
We’ll be launching two new products in the coming year, which promise to be simple, honest and delicious. Stay tuned!
