Trinity Long Room Hub Arts and Humanities Research Institute The Trinity Long Room Hub is Trinity College Dublin’s flagship Arts and Humanities Research Institute.

Its role is to:
•   Offer a world-class research environment that harnesses and expands the
        excellence of Trinity’s Arts and Humanities research
•   Pioneer and facilitate cross-disciplinary collaborative projects
•   Increase the visibility and the impact of this research and demonstrate its
        relevance for contemporary and future societies
•   Provide a focal point for debates on the challenges facing the world today as
        well as for linking the university with the city and its educational and cultural
        institutions.

In every aspect of its activities, the Trinity Long Room Hub reflects and draws on the rich and diverse strengths of its partners:
The Trinity College Library
The School of Drama, Film and Music
The School of English
The School of Histories and Humanities
The School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies
The School of Linguistic, Speech and Communication Sciences
The School of Religions, Theology and Ecumenics
The School of Social Sciences and Philosophy

The Trinity Long Room Hub maintains its profile as a research institute of international caliber through a variety of initiatives:

•   Providing a year round diverse programme of academic events, public
        lectures, seminars and conferences;
•   Championing the development of a number of overarching priority research  
        themes in the Arts and Humanities such as Identities in Transformation;
•   Operating an International Visiting Research Fellowship Programme;
•   Hosting major EU funded Digital Humanities research projects;
•   Facilitating pioneering multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional research  
        projects.

The institute is housed in a signature award winning building which was opened in 2010. Its location at the heart of Trinity’s historic Fellows Square signifies the centrality of the Arts and Humanities for the university and Irish society.

The Liam Swords Foundation - bursary for Irish Higher education students to study in Paris

OPEN CALL: to any Irish post graduate student (from any discipline) who may be interested in applying for the Liam Swords Foundation Bursary.
