Don't forget next Sunday our clubs Promotional Handball Fun Day with Ladies and Gents exhibition matches all-Ireland senior singles champion Martina Mc Mahon from Limerick will play all-Ireland Intermediate singles champion Megan Mc Cann from Armagh in a Ladies exhibition match, and all Ireland intermediate singles champion David Hope from Offaly will play all-Ireland Minor singles champion Sean Kerr from Tyrone. GAA Handball President Joe Masterson will also be attending on the day. Come along enjoy all the fun and action meet and take part with the stars of handball who will perform and demonstrate the skills of the perfect game, share the energy and passion. The club will hold a committee meeting next Wednesday night at 7pm in the Pheasant function room all delegates, members, and promotional handball day volunteers are requested to attend. Congrats and very well done to Emily Black who managed to defeat all contenders to win our juvenile Top Ace score competition last week with a fine top score of 11 aces. The club would like to congratulate Diarmuid Nash/Colin Crehan from Clare on their fantastic 14-21,21-14,21-3 win over Paul Brady/Michael Finnegan from Cavan in the All-Ireland senior doubles final at Kingscourt handball club Last Saturday. Please keep those unwanted clothes coming for our club fundraising appeal if you have any unwanted clothes, shoes, handbags, belts, coats etc pop them into a bag and bring them along to Coke hall or you can contact Maria on 0879821594 to arrange for collection. Well done to club man J Kelly who was appointed by GAA Handball CCC to officiate the mens All- Ireland senior doubles match between P Brady/M Finnegan Cavan v Patrick/Peter Funchion Kilkenny at Kingscourt club last Saturday. The All-Ireland senior doubles finals takes place next Saturday 7th April at Kingscourt any club members wishing to purchase tickets for the finals can contact our club secretary asap please, a full weekend ticket including senior final adult cost €25, juve/OAP cost €15, senior final only ticket adult €15, juve/OAP €15.
