Authentic Indian Cooking and Supper Club in Cork My cookery classes happen twice a month in my own home. Learn to cook healthy, everyday Indian meals for the whole family.(All ingredients provided).

One Friday, every month, a group of strangers arrive at our venue to dine together on authentic Indian fare. Its great craic and you go away after making new friends. Its a great way to learn and experience authentic Indian cuisine. The event is BYOB

Thanks everyone for your very lovely comments. Here is the link to the episode if you missed it. Mind you now, it was heavily edited. I did talk about the variety in Indian cuisine that’s not reflected here in Ireland and the generic use of the word ‘curry’ which Indians don’t use. I also talked about Indian food being balanced with vegetarian and vegan friendly options. Frankly I was disappointed with their coverage of the medicinal value of spices. I wish they had gotten someone with an Ayurvedic background to talk about it. Most Indian cupboards are also their medicine cabinets. That Madras curry you have been eating? - Yeah not from Madras! Madras (or Chennai as its called) has a very doverse range of cuisine. Its best known of idli, vada dosa and sambar. A south Indian meal is also poriyal, kootu , rasam and so much more. I should know- I am from Madras. Madras cuisine is tangy, falavourful and so vegan and vegetarian friendly.
