We have moved outside!!! The first plants to get in the ground this year are Broad beans. It was a bit of a mud bath making the beds but we were itching to get going.
Endive leaves are growing well with the increase in temperature. A few of these add great texture and zing to our mixed salads. They look nice too!
Spinach is back! I love this vegetable as it’s so quick to cook and goes well with everything.
Direct sown oriental leaves growing well in the tunnel. These will be an important component of our mixed salad in 3 weeks time when they are at the baby leaf stage.
