A very big thank you to Inishowen AC for all their help in making our 5k fun run/walk such a success this evening. We would also like to thank McKenna's Centra, Buncrana for donating the bottles of water - they were definitely needed 🏃‍♀️🏃 E. Gillen & Sons, thank you to the boys who always support us and continually donate all the tea/coffee cups ☕️ Paddy & Ciaran Boyce for driving the safety vehicles 🚐 All those who returned sponsorship sheets, donated and turned up tonight your support is very much appreciated. Liam & all the staff in Scoil Eoghain who continually support our Committee in all our fundraising events. A special thanks to all the kids from Scoil Eoghain who did a great job tonight 👍 And without our volunteers an event like this cudn't happen - we thank all of you 🥇 You all helped to raise a total of €1,544.00 to purchase a defibrillator for our school 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

5k fun run/walk tomorrow Friday, 19th May at 7.30 pm, starting at the Cosy Cottage. Registration takes place in the school from 6.15 pm. Anyone taking part in the kids 1k fun run/walk will be starting around 7.20 pm. Registration €10 for adults & €2 for kids. Refreshments in the school afterwards. Sponsorship sheets should be returned to the school by tomorrow 19th if possible. We hope to see you all there 🏃‍♀️🏃 Anyone coming tomorrow evening to help out could they please wear a high vis top and be at the school from 6pm onwards. If you don't have one we will provide one for you. Thank you.

First Communion photos will be ready for collection at Harkin's Coal Office from Monday 15th May.

5k fun run/walk will take place on Friday 19th May at 7.30 pm starting from the Cosy Cottage. There will also be a 1k walk/run for the children. Registration will be in Scoil Eoghain from 6.15 pm. €10 for adults and €2 for children. A Sponsor sheet will be sent home with the children this week - one per family of five lines at €1 per line. This will be run with the assistance of Inishowen Athletics Club but we still need volunteers to help out with marshalling, registration and refreshments, if you are able to do so could you please pm us. We would really appreciate as many of you as possible take part so that we raise enough money to purchase a defibrillator for our school, thank you 🏃‍♀️ 🏃

Congratulations again to the boys and girls on their First Communion. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who showed up to the school today to help with the reception....it really is very much appreciated. 😊 And to Linda and Phil for taking the photographs - Thank you. Just a wee reminder that First Holy Communion takes place tomorrow at 11.00 am in St. Pius X Church. The Parents Association will be hosting a reception afterwards in the hall of Scoil Eoghain for our 2nd class children and their families. We would be very grateful of any donations of home baking which can be left in the school tomorrow morning. We wish all the children making their First Holy Communion a wonderful day 🙏☀️

Don't forget.... 2 important dates for your diary !

First Communion takes place in our parish on Sunday the 7th of May at 11am in St. Pius X Church. The parents association will be hosting a reception afterwards in the hall of Scoil Eoghain for our 2nd class children and their families. We would be very grateful for any donations of home baking for this event, these can left in the school hall the morning of First Communion or the Friday before during school hours. Would anyone who would like to help with the reception please pm us if you haven't done so already, thank you.

Congratulations again to all the lovely boys and girls today on their Confirmation. A huge thank you to all the volunteers from the 3 schools of the Parish for the reception afterwards and for any donations of food. We hope you all enjoyed it.
