A common cause of hip and leg pain can stem from the lower back or buttocks area. When these muscles become short and tight they compress the sciatic nerve which radiates pain down the leg. This can be treated through manipulation. If you are experiencing similar pain you can call, text or pm me to book an appointment or for further information.

Client with a sprained ankle. He went over on his ankle playing rugby 10 days ago. A lot of swelling and bruising. Applied kinesio tape to reduce swelling and bruising. Pic 1/Day 2(top left) ankle before kinesio tape. Pic 2/Day 2 (top right) kinesio tape application Pic 3/Day 6 (bottom left) after 1st kinesio tape application Pic 4/Day 10 (bottom right) after 2nd kinesio tape application. Swelling and bruising considerably reduced. Now working on rehabilitation exercises to stabilise, strengthen ankle joint. Contact me to make an appointment

Foam Roll Friday In the attached video I will show you how to foam roll the calf muscles and the IT Band CALF MUSCLE Rest foam roller on lower portion of your leg. Place hands slightly behind you and lift your backside off the ground. Roll right up to the back of the knee and down to the top of the heel. Place one leg on top of the other to apply more pressure onto muscle. IT BAND (Iliotibial band) Turn onto your side, resting on your elbow place the foam roller just below hip bone. Roll the foam roller down the side of your leg to the top of the knee. Lean on leg to apply more pressure.
Foam Roll Friday. Today we will look how to foam roll the hamstrings and quadriceps Hamstrings Place the roller under your thighs. Roll from the knees to the buttocks. To increase the pressure, roll one leg at a time, turning your leg in and out. Quadriceps Lie on your stomach with a roller placed under the front of your thigh and slowly roll up and down from the bottom of your hip to the top of your knee. Happy foam rolling.
