https://lnkd.in/eaQRsFy Hello Everyone, As part of our CSR strategy at OPD I am asking all our friends and colleagues to consider the National Association of Housing for people with visual impairment together with intellectual disabilities for any fundraising activities you are engaged in over Christmas and through 2019. In 2017 many of you helped us secure 3x3 bedroom apartments in Dublin City Centre for homeless persons following a similar campaign on LinkedIn through fundraising events and contributions. This was a great achievement by all involved and hopefully we can replicate this success over the next 12 months to secure the future of the nahvi respite centre. The Haven at Oakport lodge Cootehall County Roscommon is a magnificent respite/holiday centre designed for persons with disabilities but is greatly indebted and in grave danger of being permanently closed down and placed on the open market. nahvi (company number 13759 and registered charity number 317329) has received HIQA approval to operate fully providing residential services to young adults visually impaired with intellectual disability. Donations can be made via the iDonate link below. If you prefer to donate directly via bank transfer please get in touch. Regards, Tom
