Here at the Yoga Loft we offer yoga classes and workshops for all ages and abilities. Yoga Loft Cork provides students with a rich and diverse learning environment. Every person is different and everyone responds in their own way to the practice of yoga. It's important to take the time to discover what you enjoy and whats brings you most benefit. Understanding your own response will help you to build your own unique yoga practice. Here at the studio, we have small classes with a maximum of 15 - 20 students, so each student can connect more directly with the teacher and can receive attention on an individual level where required.
Whether you are a complete beginner, dedicated practitioner or somewhere in the middle, we have several different well known styles and a wide variety of times on offer.
We also regularly host local and international teacher for classes/workshops. Please contact 083 1677166 for rates and availability.

She is very drawn to alternative therapies, and is also qualified in Massage Therapy, Indian head Massage, Reiki, and has a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy. She is passionate about yoga, meditation and mindfulness, in deepening her spiritual practice following this lifestyle. She see's the body as a whole mind, body, spirit connection and aims to teach Anatomy and Physiology in a gentle, accessible and practical way. YOGA TEACHER TRAINING - MEET THE TEACHERS Charlie Stevens - Philosophy Charlie was born and raised in England and has spent most of his life in Ireland having moved here in 1975. He has taught yoga and meditation and trained yoga teachers firstly with the British Wheel of Yoga in the 80's and then in Contemporary Yoga which Charlie founded with Marianne Gabriel. He has had a long interest in personal development and this led to counselling and psychotherapy. Charlie achieved an H dip in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy in UCC and then a Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy there. He is also trained in Family Constellations and has held workshops in this for the last 10 years. Charlie is also an accredited supervisor. Both accreditations are with IAHIP. He is in a long term relationship and has two children and two grandchildren. His interests include sailing and playing music when he is not working. YOGA TEACHER TRAINING - MEET THE TEACHERS NIKKI COUSINS - YOGA Nikki attended her first yoga class 17 years ago. A few year later years later was she drawn into an intense connection with the practice that became a life-long relationship. When she began to seriously immerse herself in the practice of Ashtanga yoga that she found a style that resonated with her deeply, a style that both challenged and rewarded her. She completed Paul Dallaghan's training course in Thailand in 2004 and her love and respect for the Ashtanga tradition was truly sealed. It was also here, in Yoga Thailand that she studied under Sri O.P.Tiwari and started a study of the science of pranayama, which now forms an important part of her daily practice. She is a dedicated yoga student and teacher, studying with top yoga teachers in the world, including spending time in India studying under Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore and Rolf and Marci in Goa. She is committed to studying with her main teacher, Paul Dallaghan every year. As a teacher her classes are in keeping with the tradition of Ashtanga and are thus demanding. She believes that each student is capable of much more than they realise, and it is through steady, consistent practice that this becomes apparent.
