Cork City Walks operate guided walking tours of Cork City 6 days a week starting from the Imperial Hotel and the Cork City Tourist Office in Grand Parade. The Tours operate from Monday - Saturday inclusive, departing from the Imperial Hotel at 11.00 a.m. and from Cork City Tourist Office, Grand Parade at 11.15 a.m. rain or shine.  The guided walk takes approximately 90 minutes at a leisurely pace and costs just €8.00 per person. A second walk operates on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. (Imperial) and 2.15 p.m. (Tourist office).

We provide this service not only to tourists that visit Cork, but also to locals.  We’ve had a great start with tourists from all over the world joining our walks; Local people are recommending us to friends and family visiting from overseas or elsewhere in Ireland and the feedback has been excellent.  
All tours are conducted in English; however, the team can offer personalised tours by appointment in German with fluent speaker Vera Canniffe, who also accompanies German groups around Ireland.  Adds Vera; “I am a German Native but have been living and working in this wonderful city for more than 30 years and have reared my family here.  When people come on our tour they go home and talk about it and we hope that encourages more people to visit us in Cork from overseas”.
