Thanks John for this lovely feedback on Toy Republic :) "I met Alex a number of years ago and Mark more recently through my interest in model railways, steam models and die cast haulage vehicles. I always enjoy a visiting and browsing through the range of items on display at Toy Republic. Alex and Mark are very pleasant, engaging and interesting people to deal with. They delight in supplying their customers with interesting collectables. If the collectable you desire is not in stock they will do their utmost to source it for you. They carry a varied range of stock such as vintage toys, L.P.s, gramophones, construction toys, model railways, memorabilia of all sorts etc.. The stock is constantly changing and comes from a wide range of sources. All items at Toy Republic are sensibly priced. A shop like Toy Republic is a breath of fresh air and a welcome addition to the world of collectibles." John (Model Railway collector) www.toyrepublic.ie

Treasures: Vinyl a sound investment

Check out this piece in the Irish Independent recently in which Alex is chatting about vintage records & Toy Republic!! "It's like an old fashioned record shop - you can flick through the albums," he says. "Young ones like the covers - they're full of information. With downloads you can get the information off the internet but you don't physically own it. It's in cyberspace." Alex & Mark www.toyrepublic.ie
