A regular opportunity for CrossFit gyms to get together & get ALL their athletes to compete.  Workouts cater for Rx, intermediate and scaled athletes  Want to get involved in CrossFit competitions but find the usual competitions too heavy, too intense or just not achievable?  

Well your answer has just happened!!  CrossFit Return's Friday Night Lights (CFR FNL).
We will organise and regularly host throwdowns against CrossFit gyms, programming for all levels of athletes in your gym.

Watch this page for upcoming FNL events.  Spread the word and share amongst your friends and fellow CF lovers.

Drum roll pls guys and "forks" 😋......🎵🎵🎵 WOD2 2a) In 7 mins 2 athletes work to: 3RM "1 clean + 2 hang clean" (power or squat) 1 athlete lifting at a time, every second lift Barbell cannot touch the ground after the initial lift. Score = total weight 2b) 5 min AMRAP 2 athletes complete: - 5 snatch (45/30kg) (power or squat) - 5 burpees - 5 T2B 1 athlete works at a time, reps can be broken up anyway but in order. Scale = total reps WOD3 to be announced on the day (spoiler alert - think relay teams and bring your skipping ropes!!! ) All movements, standards and scaling options will be confirmed on the day. This weekend's Super Saturday details: 12pm registration, €60 per team, 2 guys, 2 girls. KO at 12.30pm and hope to finish by 4pm. We hope you can all join us, more loud supporters the better :-) And here's a sneak peak for WOD1 a&b... 1a) in 7mins 2 athletes must get as far up the ascending couplet ladder 3,6,9,12,15... thrusters (50/35kg) 1,2,3,4... C2B (m)/ pull ups (f) Score = total reps 1b) the other 2 athletes must row 2km for time!! Distance can be broken up any way you want. 1 rower per couple. 7min CAP Score = total time Keep prepping teams and watch this space for WOD2 a&b tomorrow...

Read and weep.... WOD 1a 6 min AMRAP P1 does 1rd - 6 S2OH (B 35/25kg, I 45/30kg) 9 box jumps (24/20") P2 holds the plank Partners switch every rd. Reps will only count when partner is holding the plank! Score = total reps completed by both athletes. 1 min REST WOD 1b In 3 mins complete as many down up bar hops between both athletes. Only one athlete working at a time. Score = total reps. WOD 2 - surprise!! To be announced on the night.... WOD 3 11 min AMRAP (only 1 athlete working at a time) 50 double unders (l) / 150 skips (B) 50 thrusters (B 30/20kg, I 40/30kg) 25 pull ups (l) / 50 kb swings (B) (16/10kg) 50 burpees Score = total reps. All standards will be demonstrated on the night. Movements can be scaled in both categories but teams that scale cannot win that WOD. Don't panic we'll explain everything on Friday evening.
