I love everything about swimming. So its only fair to share some of my knowledge with you. I am going to share some tips to make the journey easier. Resuable nappies are great for little ones, they are beautifully soft, dry fast and are easy to care for . I really noticed when we were going on holidays with the boys how much less bag space they took up and the cost saving.!!! I really love Charlie Banana brand, beautiful bright colours. What's not to love. Westbury Swim School, swimming from the Heart ♥ #westburyswimschool #charliebanana #resusableswimnappy
Look how much can be missed when we are hyper focused on speech. Non verbal..... Really????
Unfortunately I didnt get to acknowledge World Autism Day yesterday. The boy's both had vomiting 🤢 bug! I love how Maori describe Autism. Forests thrive on biodiversity plants, trees, microflora all live in harmony. Autism is human biodiversity. The world would be less colourful or amazing if we processed the world the same. To the parents supporting family members with Autism. You are doing an amazing job. Cherish the mile stones that you were made beleive to be impossible. Perhaps you could tack on the word, yet. Yet extends the boundaries of hope and possibility. If you are not familiar with Autism. ✅ Children and Adults dont look autistic. They are humans with thoughts and feelings that process information differently. ✅ People experience autism differently, you will never meet two people that experience autism the same way ✅ Eye communication is over rated, you are being listened to. ✅ Meltdowns are not the result of poor parenting, its caused by sensory overload. Think of the thing you most dislike (nails down a black board or someone chewing loudly). Image listening to this all day. ✅ Communication, some people can talk others are non verbal. When we only look for speech we can miss communication (hand gestures or utterances.) For me personally I am really privileged to have the opportunity to teach so many children with Autism to swim. Thank you for support Marie-Anne
With all the excitement, this is definitely us tomorrow
I just spotted this and thought it was really worth sharing. Not less equal an important truth for young girls and boys. Watch until the end
