facebook.comThis is Rupert the lurcher. Rupert was handed into the pound and then rescued by Great Hounds in Need. He had been starved and tied up for the first 3 years of his life. He is currently being fostered by Carole. Under her love and care I have seen him flourish from a bag of bones with swellings on all his joints due to rickets to a happy slightly chubby boy. I have seen him improve every single day. It has never failed to amaze me how even though he has had such an awful life up until 3 months ago he is one of the happiest most loving dogs you could come across...He makes me smile very day when when I when I come into the salon. I am so happy for him and feel proud to be part of his transformation.
