My name is Linda Carey. I first worked with dogs for many years on a voluntary basis in a rescue shelter. It was here that I realised most of these dogs had been surrendered to the shelter through no fault of their own, but through lack of understanding and communication between owners and their dogs.
This is how I became interested in dog training and dog owner education.
My aim when setting up Diamond Collar was to educate dog owners in how to train and interact with their dogs in a way that is enjoyable, rewarding and stress free for both humans and canine. In this way I hope to help keep more dogs stay in a family environment and out of shelters.
My training methods are based only on positive reinforcement ,ie. kind, ethical and enjoyable reward based methods which result in happy stressfree times for owners and dogs.
Why Home Boarding ??
While staying with us in our own home your dog will be treated like our own. This means plenty of interaction, walks, beach trips and playing games/puzzles. He will get plenty of physical and mental exercise so won't really have time to worry and feel lonely as dogs often do in conventional kennels.
