The Irish Association of Healthcare Assistants organised its inaugural "Health Training and Wellness Workshop" for healthcare assistants on Saturday 19th November in Marymount Hospice from 9am to 6pm. Bluebird Care exhibited at the workshop along with the other associations such as The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, Epilepsy Ireland, Parkinson's Association of Ireland, The College of Progressive Education, Safe Care Technologies, EliteGym displaying Robotic Ecoskeleton Walking and Cork Arc Cancer Society to mention a few. The workshops included CPR training, patient moving and handling, nutrition for the elderly, dementia training and much more. The Workshop was well attended on the day and will prove to be a valuable meeting and educational event for healthcare assistants in the future. Bluebird Care were delighted to be associated with the workshop and has committed to returning next year.
