If you are a member and don't have the booking app, please call into reception and we will get you all set up 😊 - You can now book in for all 33 classes a week from your phone up to 3 days in advance. - If the class is full you can simply join the waiting list and if a space becomes available you will receive a text to let you know or else we will call you. - You can cancel bookings on the app up to 3 hours before the class begins. Anytime closer to the class we would ask that you call to let us know so we can offer someone else your place. - If you are a monthly member, you can refer a friend and if your friend joins you get €2 per month off your membership. You can refer up to 5 people saving you €10 per month! All members have access to unlimited classes and this app is a fantastic way to make sure you get a space and also keep track of all the classes you have attended. Full access to the gym, assessment and personalised training programme. No classes are included. U18 Option 2: €39 per month direct debit for a minimum of 3 months. 💥 Exercise of the week: Dips 💥 Dips are a compound push exercise with a small range of motion that primarily works your triceps but also engages your forearms, shoulders, chest and lower back. These muscle groups are engaged from the moment you position yourself on a dip machine, as the muscles are needed to help stabilize and balance yourself on the arm handles. As you lower and raise your body, the muscles provide resistance to the gravitational pull on your body. The lack of momentum during the dip movement keeps the muscles contracted throughout, making it one of the most effective triceps exercises. Here Darren shows the standard tricep dip and also the assisted tricep dip which is a good starting point if you haven't tried them before 😊
